New drawing

This is a new drawing, I wanted to move away from the falling figure and look at how I can use other objects to create my compositions. This is an experimental piece that I found worked quite well. I will be drawing more flowers in a similar style but on a larger scale so i can get lots of detail in.

This piece was done in watercolour, it took a while to get used to using a paint brush again rather then a pencil, but I enjoyed doing it.

This is a drawing I started a while ago and have finally decided to finish it. It's probably the last one in the series of falling girls, as I am moving on to look at people in everyday spaces/situations. I want to take them out of that contex to see what happens when they are left in the white space so they can be placed somewhere in the audiences imagination.

I was so excited when I heard about this, it's the first time my work has been published in anything!

Happy New Year!

I am still completing two commissions that were meant to be ready for christmas, tricky ones as neither are what I am used to doing, one is a watercolour and the other are two horse portraits, (which have taken me a while to figure out  how to get the coat just right) but they are both almost complete so I will be posting them hopefully within the week!

With the new year comes an inudated amount of commissions! Which is great! (especially for after xmas!)
I also need to concentrate on my own work as KTContemporary needs more pieces for the end of Jan! So its constant studio time for me!
